The graph of f(x) = 1/3
Illusion [34]

The transformed function is defined by:

g(x) = -f(x/5 - 2) - 6

Where f(x) is the given function.

<h3 /><h3>How to get the equation of the transformed function?</h3>

Here we start with the function:

f(x) = (1/3)*x

(I don't know if this is the actual function, but that does not matter, I will solve it in a general way).

If first, we reflect it vertically, then the new function is:

g(x) = -f(x).

If now we compress it horizontally by a factor of 5, then we get:

g(x)  = - f(x/5)

Now we shift it 2 units to the right, then:

g(x) = -f(x/5 - 2)

Finally, we shift it down 6 units, then we get:

g(x) = -f(x/5 - 2) - 6

That is the general form of the function g(x).

Replacing f(x) by what is defined above, we get:

g(x) = -(1/3)*(x/5 - 2) - 6

The global surface water area is 361, 132,000 square metres. Calculate the volume of water needed to cause a 3mm in sea level.
vovangra [49]

Answer:

The volume of water is 396 cubic meter.

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of water, A = 132000 square meter

Height, h = 3 mm = 0.003 m

The volume of water is given by

V = Area x height

V = 132000 x 0.003

V = 396 cubic meter.

Can someone give me the answer quickly
Arturiano [62]

q1: 45% bc u have to divide the amount of pens w the total amount of students which is 90/200 and that’s 0.45, also 45%

q2: 9.5% bc now u have to divide the amount of pens only left handed students use, so when u find how many pens left handed students use, that’s 19, and again, u must divide it w 200 so 19/200 equals to 0.095 which is also 9.5%

q3: no

q4: not sure but i think the answer is no
