In 1873 Congress had established the Coinage Act of 1873 (or Mint Act of 1873) which was a general revision of a law that led to the discontinuation of  the minting of silver dollars. It was later denounced and  referred to as Crime of ’73 by the people who wanted inflation. </span>

The locations of the interment camps were strategically placed around the country. They were placed on the outskirts of the cities or in the less populated areas. These areas were chosen because it was easier for the government to set up security and the chances of attack or sabotage were lower than if the chose to do it in a more urban environments.
