1914 report of the U.S. commissioner of fisheries. What do you think the report was predicting?
Bond [772]
Fisheries are a place where fish are reared for commercial purposes. I'm not sure if you meant to put options in your question or not, but here is an example of that kind of report.

DELAWARE BAY
The relentless wind has made it all but impossible to fish the open waters of the Bay. Saturday morning a few boats tried to find some tog, but for the most part they were unsuccessful. Dirty water and strong currents greeted these hardy anglers and both of those conditions are detrimental to tog catching.

Shoreline anglers did have some decent fishing for white perch and catfish along with a few short rockfish. A few boaters also found success with these fish especially in the Leipsic River. Bloodworms remain the best bait for perch and rockfish with chicken livers or cut bunker a good choice for the catfish.

To promote the growth of vegetation, Aborigines __________.
castortr0y [4]
A. Used fire to do controlled burns

The result of controlled burns were highly beneficial to both the Aborigines and the environment. The burnt remains of the burns were very fertile and encouraged the growth of new vegetation that would not have been able to flourish if the older growth had not been removed. The removal of old vegetation also resulted in a low chance of wild fires. Further more new vegetation was able to attract wildlife to graze, making hunting easier.

The concept of controlled burns is still used today and was/is also practiced by First Nations in North America.
