Answer:

Phylum Arthropod is the largest phylum which contain about 5-8 million animal species which are occupying 80% of the total living animal species.

The main 5 sub phylum of arthropods are Trilobites,Chelicerates,Myriapods, Crustaceans,Hexapods.

Explanation:

Chelicerates-

This group of arthropod includes spider, mites, horse shoe crab, tick etc

The main characteristics of this group are presence of 6 pairs of appendages where 4 pairs are used for walking and two pairs are used as mouth parts. They lack mandible and antennae.

Myriapods-

Centipedes and millipedes are including this group which are quite similar with the worm like creature.

They have round body with 2 pairs of legs on both the body segments and make burrow in the soil. They contain more than 20 legs, 1 pair of antennae, presence of tough exoskeleton which protects them from environmental hazards.

Hexapods-

The name is given as they contain 3 pairs of legs and body is divided into head, thorax and abdomen. They bear 1 pair of antennae and mandible as a mouth organ. The abdomen is 11 segmented and bear have reproductive organs. They may be with wing or without wings.

Crustaceans-

This group includes crabs, lobsters, crayfish etc are mainly free living or terrestrial, parasitic or sessile forms which contain 3 regions the head, thorax and abdomen which is covered by carapace and is protected by exoskeleton.

N a DNA molecule the ratio of adenine (A) molecule to thymine (T) is 1:1. If in a strand of DNA there are 1 million A molecules,
Setler [38]

The correct answer to the question above is:

A) 1 million

Since ratio means the quantitative relationship between two values which the frequency of one value is contained within the second value. In this case, it is only 1:1 which means that whatever the number indicated in the first value is equal to the second value.

What enzyme allows a retrovirus to make dna from an rna template?.
Zolol [24]

Answer:

Retroviruses or reverse transcriptase

Explanation:

Retroviruses are viruses in which the genetic material consists of ribonucleic acid (RNA) instead of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Retroviruses produce an enzyme known as reverse transcriptase that uses RNA as a template to manufacture DNA, which can then be permanently integrated into the DNA of the infected host cells.

In a lab about the activity series, a solution of copper(II)chloride is placed in a test tube with zinc metal. If zinc is higher
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

Option D, Zinc is higher on the activity series because there is clear evidence of a reaction.

Explanation:

It is very clear that a metal which is higher in activity will replace a metal having lower activity.

Since, Zinc has higher activity than copper, it is very sure that it in a copper chloride solution it will replace copper and produce zinc chloride solution leaving behind copper as residue.

Residues of copper is a clear evidence of reaction

The chemical equation for this reaction would be -

CuCl_2 + 2Zn^+ -----> 2ZnCl + Cu^{2+}

Hence, option D is correct
