Answer:

x=16

(5x + 27)° =5(16)+27=80+27=107

(5x – 7)º= 5(16)-7=80-7=73

Step-by-step explanation

supplementary angle=180

(5x + 27)° + (5x – 7)º=180

5x+27+5x-7=180

10x+20=180

10x=180-20

10x=160

x=160/10

x=16

(5x + 27)° =5(16)+27=80+27=107

(5x – 7)º= 5(16)-7=80-7=73

107+73=180

Answer:

21. ΔUYZ Obtuse

22. ΔBCD Right or Rectangle

23. ΔADB Acute

24. ΔUXZ Acute

25. ΔUWZ Right or Rectangle

26. ΔUXY Equiangular and acute

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to classify each triangle by its angles.

Acute: They have 3 acute angles (less than 90 degrees).

Rectangle: The inner angle A is straight (90 degrees) and the other 2 angles are sharp. The sides that form the right angle are called legs (c and b), the other side hypotenuse.

Obtuse: The inner angle A is obtuse (more than 90 degrees). The other 2 angles are acute.

ΔUYZ Obtuse The inner angle Y is obtuse (more than 90°).

ΔBCD Right or Rectangle The inner angle C is straight (90°).

ΔADB Acute It has 3 acute angles (less than 90°).

ΔUXZ Acute It has 3 acute angles (less than 90°).

ΔUWZ Right or Rectangle The inner angle W is straight (90°).

ΔUXY Equiangular and acute Which means all the inner angles are equal (60°).

A maps key shows that every 5 inches on the map represents 200 miles of actual distance. Suppose the distance between two cities
ryzh [129]
Hello there, and thank you for posting your question here on brainly.

Short answer: 280 miles.

Why?

You can find this out by finding out how much 1 in is by dividing 200 by 5. (200 / 5 ==> 40) So 1 in = 40 miles. Now, we multiply that by 7, so we can find out how much 7 in would be. (7 * 4 ==> 280) 7 inches on the map represents 280 miles.

Hope this helped you! ♥

Find the slope of the line that passes through (6,5) and (2,5).
aliina [53]

Slope of line passing through two points (x1,y1 ) and (x2 ,y2 ) is given by

m= y2-y1/x2 −x1

Since the line passes through (−2,5) and (6,4)

We have

Slope(m)= 4-5/6−(−2) =− 1/8

Find the equation of the line using the point-slope formula.
irina [24]

Answer:

9x-7y+28=0

Step-by-step explanation:

using formula

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-4=9/7(x-0)

7y-28=9x

9x-7y+28=0
