What is the approximate perimeter of a semicircle with a radius of 6 cm?

Biology
1 answer:
aleksklad [387]3 years ago
6 0
Value of pi = 3.14
Radius of the semicircle = 6 cm
Diameter of the semicircle = 6 * 2 cm
                                           = 12 cm
Perimeter of a semicircle = pi * Diameter *(1/2)
                                         = 3.14 * 12 * 1/2
                                         = 3.14 * 6
                                         = 18.84 cm
From the above deduction, we can conclude that the perimeter of the semicircle in question is 18.84 cm. I hope that this is the answer that has come to your desired help.

Does the genetic message get altered when the information is conveyed intracellularly under normal conditions? Support your answ
IRINA_888 [86]

Genetic transmission is the mechanism that drive evolution.Asexually reproducing organisms reproducing organisms reproduce using mitosis, while the sexually reproducing organisms reproduce using meiosis.

Both these mechanisms are involved in duplication of DNA which then get passed to offspring and RNA is key component in the duplication of DNA. The genetic information heritable biological information coded in the nucleotide sequence of DNA or RNA.

Genetic material is includes genes and DNA which control the development , maintenance and reproduction of organisms. These messages is passed from generation to generation through inherited units of chemical information. It consist of only two transcription and translation they known as gene expression , during this process of transcription store in gene DNA is passed to similar molecule called RNA in nucleus.

storchak [24]

Answer:

The three main similarities between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells are as follows-

  • Both the type of cells undergoes the process of respiration
  • They both require energy to carry out the various processes
  • They are both comprised of distinct cell membrane.

The three main differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells are as follows-

  • Prokaryotic cells are comprised of circular DNA, whereas eukaryotic cells are made up of linear DNA.
  • Prokaryotic cells does not contain any nucleus, whereas eukaryotic cells are comprised of a well-distinct nucleus.
  • Prokaryotic cells does not contain chromosomes, whereas eukaryotic cells are comprised of chromosomes.
