I believe it's A. Eva would have been better off selecting the 20-year term policy.
Unde current circumtances, 10-year term policy wouldn't guarantee thesafety of the kids because even after the policy ends, Eva's kids still haven't entered the age where they could find their own income (they would be 12, 13, and 15).
If Eva decided to add another 10 year despite the extra charge, The kids will be covered until they enter the productive age.

Answer with explanation:

Description about Eva:

1. She is 29 years old, and has 2 children having ages 3 and 5.

2. She decided to buy , a $400,000 10-year term policy and then renew the policy for another ten years afterwards.

3. For renewal of policy after 10 years , she has to pay 40 % extra.

The present value of money and value of money after 10 years will change, so giving extra 40 % after 10 years is not an issue.

The financial condition of Eva presently is fine, and we can't predict her future, as her children's are growing so after 10 years what will be her financial condition , she is not sure. So, Decision taken by Eva is surely sensible and sharp witted.

Option B: Even with the extra charge for renewal, Eva’s plan is the least expensive

Assuming all model requirements for conducting the appropriate procedure have been satisfied, is the mean IQ of the students
Triss [41]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The right statistical procedure is by applying a hypothesis test that uses a single mean. Here, if we are to talk about comparison, it should be between the mean IQ of the students in the class and the national average IQ. The class is not for a comparison between two population means because it is viewed as the sample of the population. That is to say, the required task is to determine if the sample mean is greater than the population mean. We can conclude that this obeys a hypothesis test rather than a confidence interval.

A 2001 study by two researchers investigated an anti-poverty initiative in Venezuela called POVERTA. POVERTA gave money to poor
ANEK [815]

Answer:

1. This is a "RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED EXPERIMENT".

A randomized controlled experiment is a type of research study, were the researcher randomly select samples in other not to be biased. This samples are separated into two groups, which are the experimental and the controlled group.

2. The research has a treatment group and a controlled group.

A treatment group are those group that received some special treatment from the researcher, it can also be called the experimental group. According to the research, the treatment group are those who are in the POVERTA scheme. That is the 320 communities.

A controlled group are those group that were not given any special treatment, but are , separated and studied. According to the research the controlled group are those 185 communities

3. This research provides evidence that being in a community receiving POVERTA benefits is associated with a lower rate of childhood illness. Because after two years, it was noticed the children in the community that receives POVERTA has low rate of illness, than the children in a community that doesn't receive the benefits of POVERTA.

4. This study does not provide evidence that being in a community receiving POVERTA benefits causes a lower rate of childhood illness. Because the research did not involve treatment of illnesses and they is no experimental evidence that shows that POVERTA benefits is interrelated with illness, as illness involves the internal functions of human body.

5. Such study will be called a "RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED EXPERIMENT". Because their randomly isolated themselves, and the POVERTA treatment was not given to them. The researcher was not based in selecting them not to participate.
