Solve using system of equations!
Let y=total amount of money and x=hours of overtime.
mall: y=400+15x
movies: y=360+20x
Solve! Set the equations equal to each other to find x.
400+15x=360+20x
40=5x
x=8
After 8 hours of overtime the movies would pay her more.

Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

18.75=p

s=14.06

b=2.34

Step-by-step explanation:

37.75=b+s+p

-4

33.75=b+s+p

s=3/4p

b=1/6s

33.75=1/6(3/4p)+3/4p+p

33.75=3/20p+3/4p+p

(33.75=18/20p+p)20

675=18p+p)/18

37.50=2p)/2

18.75=p

s=3/4p

3/4(18.75)

s=14.06

b=1/6s

1/6(14.06)

b=2.34

37.75-4=18.75+14.06+2.34=35.15

Evaluate the function for x = 2 and x = 6 f(x) = -(x - 2)
12345 [234]

Answer:

f(2) = 0 and f(6) = -4

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find f(x) when x = 2

Plug in 2 as x in the function:

f(x) = -(x - 2)

f(2) = -(2 - 2)

f(2) = -(0)

f(2) = 0

Next, find f(x) when x = 6. Plug in 6 as x in the function:

f(x) = -(x - 2)

f(6) = -(6 - 2)

f(6) = -(4)

f(6) = -4

So, f(2) = 0 and f(6) = -4

A typical running track is an oval with 74-m-diameter half circles at each end. a runner going once around the track covers a di
denpristay [2]

Answer:

Her centripetal acceleration during the turn at each end of the track is 0.432\, \frac{m}{s^{2}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Total distance covered in one round , D= 400 m

Time taken to cover one round , T = 1 min 40 s = 100 sec

Speed of runner , V=\frac{D}{T}=\frac{400}{100}\, \frac{m}{s}= 4.0\, \frac{m}{s}

Now centripetal acceleration is given by

a_c=\frac{V^{2}}{R}

where V= 4.0\frac{m}{s}

Radius, R= \frac{Diameter}{2}=\frac{74}{2}m=37\, m

\therefore a_c=\frac{4^{2}}{37}\, \frac{m}{s^{2}}=0.432\, \frac{m}{s^{2}}

Thus her centripetal acceleration during the turn at each end of the track is 0.432\, \frac{m}{s^{2}}

Domain of the function of a graph with coordinates (-3,-2)
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

Domain is -3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that coordinate of a graph is (-3, -2)

We have to find out the domain.

We know that if A and B are two sets, a mapping from A to B is the subset of cartesian product AxB.

Domain is the set of values of A which have images in B.

Use the above definition.

We have A = {-3,...} and B = {-2,....}

The mapping is from -3 to -2

Hence domain is -3
