Answer:

The two previous horses were heterozygous recessive. They carried the genes for OWLs however the genes were recessive therefore the dominate gene gave it's phenotype. I would tell the horse owner that it would be best to breed using different horses, however breeding with the same horses may still lead to healthy results.

Explanation:

This answer revolves around Mendel and his studies. The parents had the gene coding for the disease however it was "out-shined" by the dominant gene, in this case the healthy gene. Therefore the two parents were healthy. Now according to Mendel's research and his punnet square (I suggest you look into it for further explanation) if two heterozygous recessive creatures were to have an offspring there is a high chance that one of their offspring will have the disease seeing as babies in general will receive an allele from the mother and one from the father. So a child having

Lynna [10]

Answer: 2.81 x 10∧14 baterias after 16 hours.

Explanation:

Hi, first we have to find how many 20 minute intervals are in 16 hours.

If 1 hour = 60 min, 16hours = 960 minutes (16 h x 60 min / 1 h)

If we divide the 960 minutes (16 hours) by 20 minutes we obtain 48. (960/48)

There are 48 twenty minutes intervals in 16 hours.

Now we have to apply the exponential growth formula:

P (t) = Po (1 +r) ∧t

Where:

P (t) = population at time t

P (0) = initial population (1)

r = growth rate (1)

t = time (48)

Replacing with the values given:

P (t) = 1 (1 + 1) ∧48= 2.81 x 10∧14

2.81 x 10∧14 baterias after 16 hours.

An experiment was designed to investigate if caffeine would raise the heartbeat of water fleas. Two groups of water fleas were u
fgiga [73]

Answer:

That is administered and controlled

Step-by-step explanation:

A variable is the condition or a product that may vary without the influence of any investigator. Such variables can be found abundantly in our daily lives, ranging from air to sunlight. Controlling such variables ensures the limitation of their influence on the outcome of an experiment. In connection to this experiment, the variables that are controlled are the mineral content in the water, the  amount of bacteria food, the amount of light and the the constant temperature of 20 degrees C.

If not administered or these variables controlled, the experiment would not clearly explain the impact of caffeine on the heart beat of the water fleas as other variables may have influenced it. Thus variables are controlled to study the singular impact of any agent or effect.
