Answer:

The answer to your question is 56 gal

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Percent filled = 95%

Total water can hold = 1120 gal

remaining water = ?

Process

1.- Calculate the 95% of 1120 gal

              1120 gal ------------------ 100%

                x           ------------------   95%

                      x = (95 x 1120) / 100

                      x = 106400 / 100

                      x = 1064 gal

2.- Calculate the remaining water by subtracting the previuos value to the total capacity.

Remaining water = 1120 - 1064

                             = 56 gal

6M + 1= -23<br> SOLVE THE EQUATION
Inessa05 [86]
6m + 1= -23 \\ \\ 6m = -23 - 1 \\ \\ 6m = -24 \\ \\ m = - \frac{24}{6} \\ \\ m = -4 \\ \\

The final result is: m = -4.

What is the solution to the system of linear equations
Alchen [17]
So this easiest way to solve is to use the elimination method. Basically you just add the equations together. This is what you do.

-5x + y = -11
x - y = 7
Add the equations.(This operation gets rid of the y-value)
-4x = -4
Divide.
x = 1
Now plug in 1 into an equation of your choice and find the value of y.
1 - y = 7
Subtract 1 from both sides.
-y = 6
Divide by -1 because you can't have a -y.
y = -6
So the solution is (1, -6).
I hope this helps love! :)
