A=(1,2) and b=(2, - 1) . Find 4a - 3b

1st carry out the scalar multiplication 4a and -3b

4a =[4(1) , 4(2) ] = (4 , 8)

-3b = [-3(2) . -3(-1)] = (-6 , +3)

4a - 3b =  [(4-6) , (8+3)] = (-2 , 11)
