No, the total cost will be less than $1000.

There will be 7 buses with 44 students each and one bus with 39 students. So in there will be 8 buses in all.

8*$95=$760

Algebra help?

343 = (x/6) ^2/3
Vladimir79 [104]

I can only assume that you meant, "Solve for x:"

Apply the exponent 3/2 to both sides of this equation. The result will be

     3/2

343 = x/6.

Multiplying both sides by 6 isolates x:

          3/2

6*343           = x                         Since 7^3 = 343,  the expression for x

                                                  can be rewritten as

           3/2

6*(7^3) = x which can be further simplified, as follows:

x =  6^(3/2)*7^(9/2), or:

x = 6^(3/2)*7^(8/2)*√7, or

x = 6^(3/2)*7^4*√7

Mrs Ang bought k apples at 50% each from a supermarket. How much
timama [110]

Answer:

The apples may have costed 0.50 cents each, and she may have bought 10, which would result in her paying 10 dollars, and receiving 5 dollars in change.

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply 10 (the amount she gave to the cashier) by 0.50%, it equals 5, so that's how much she paid, and since she gave a 10 dollar bill, she should get 5 dollars in change.

4. So
Serhud [2]

Answer:

P=29.95+0.05m+2.95

Step-by-step explanation:

The monthly plan costs starts at $29.95, so we're not changing that.

For each monthly plan, we have to pay a tax of $2.95, so we're not changing that.

If we go over 1,000 minutes, we have to pay $0.05 for every minute we go over, and with the fact that m represents each minute over 1,000, we're going to have to represent minutes over 1,000 as 0.05m in our equation.

Set up your equation:

P=29.95+0.05m+2.95
