Answer:

C. Permian-Triassic

Explanation:

There have been several mass extinctions throughout Earth's history, more specifically five, at least from what is known so far. All of them share one characteristic, more than half of the species on the planet have died out in a very short period of time. Some extinction were more mild, while some very extreme. The most extreme one was the Permian-Triassic extinction with estimated 90-96% of the species going extinct. This extinction put end to the domination of the sinapsids, but from the smaller animals that survived through it, the dinosaurs and the mammals arose.

Generalize: If either allele is the(dominant, recessive) allele for a trait, the organism will exhibit that trait. An organism w
seropon [69]
Mendel’s law of dominance states that the dominant allele is always expressed. For example if there were two homozygous rats, one with grey fur, GG and one with white fur gg, the F2 generation will have Gg, expressing the dominant grey fur, only when having gg, two recessive alleles, will the recessive Gene be exhibited. Therefore only when both alleles are recessive.

Answer:

The process of photosynthesis and cellular respiration are essential as they provide the organism with energy which is required to carry out functions of a cell. Both these processes share differences and similarities in their own unique ways.

The process of photosynthesis is  opposite to the process of cellular respiration. This means that the reactants of one reaction are the products of the other reaction and vice versa.

Photosynthesis can be described as a process in which plants make sugar and oxygen from carbon dioxide and water by using light energy from the sun.

Cellular respiration can be described as a process in which carbon dioxide and water are made from oxygen and glucose. Energy in the form of ATP is released during this process.

Both these process are necessary for the survival of organisms on Earth. Without photosynthesis, there would not be enough oxygen for humans to respire and the plants would not be able to make food.

Without respiration, the cells of an organisms body wouldn't get the energy to carry out it tasks.

Explain how the climate in a specific region differs during El Niño and La Niña.
Nady [450]

Answer:

During El Niño, the jet stream is oriented from west to east across the southern portion of the United States. Thus, this region becomes more susceptible to severe weather outbreaks during the winter. Conversely, during La Niña, the jet stream and severe weather are likely to be farther north.
