If I recall correctly, I was taught:
The particles in the air (dust, smoke, etc.) increase in density the farther you look. Causing a "fog" effect as you look across large distances. Including shore to shore of an ocean.

I) Predict which of the liquids would cause the largest decrease in mass of a potato stick
rjkz [21]

Answer:

1.0 mole per dm3 sodium chloride solution

Explanation:

The more the molarity of a solution, the lower the water potential of the solution, and the higher the amount of water that will osmotically move from the potato stick to the solution when placed in it in order for an equilibrium to be established.

Hence, the 1.0 mole per dm3 sodium chloride solution will cause the largest decrease in the mass of the potato stick when compared to the 0.5 and 0.1 mole per dm3 sodium chloride solutions.

How does nectar increase the ability of plants to reproduce?
grigory [225]

Answer:

nectar is very sweet juice which attracts insects.

when those insects suck the nectar the pollen grains sticks to the body of those insects and then when they fly and sit on the other flowers and then those pollen grains are then transferred to the stigma of that flower which then forms a zygote and then forms a new flower.

and this is how nectar helps to reproduce
