This advancement would be crop growing.

When people first started growing crops, this enabled them to stop living nomadic lives, where they had to go from food source to food source, but stay at one location that enable them to grow crops which they needed to make food out of. Eventually, this had led to the formation of villages and ever bigger urban areas :)

What is the difference between a fear and a phobia?
Dmitry [639]
This is actually a good question because people confuse fear and phobia often.

A fear is being afraid of something, like climbing a mountain because you're afraid you might fall. But a phobia is an anxiety disorder and has to be diagnosed. Phobias don't pose a threat. Phobia would be a fear of the number 13 and getting anxiety when you see a 13 (it's a real phobia, too).

I assume my self to be a part of the ancient Harappan civilization.

One of the most ancient civilizations in the world was at its peak from 3500 bc to 2500 B.C. Though ancient it had many modern features like the specialisation of work, complex division in society, and flourished trade and commerce. Traveling distant land would have surely attracted me in the ancient phase.

Why is percival's revelation that the beast comes from the sea frightening?
tatuchka [14]

Percival tells the boys that the monster comes out of the sea in squid shape and afterward is a phantom ashore, so nobody can see it, however despite everything it assaults its prey.

Being trapped on an island without any grown-ups for solace could be exceptionally terrifying to a little kid! Such is the situation with Percival in William Golding's celebrated novel Lord of the Flies. Percival first winds up known as the 'littlun' who cries constantly.
