When you're subtracting fractions you turn them into improper fractions. When you're adding fractions you just change the denominator so they're the same, or turn them into improper fractions.

Can someone help me!<br> if something cost $4.90 due to a 14% discount what is the original price
Vlad [161]

Answer:

$4.21

Step-by-step explanation:

Discount = Original Price x Discount %/100

Discount = 4.9 × 14/100

Discount = 4.9 x 0.14

You save = $0.69

Final Price = Original Price - Discount

Final Price = 4.9 - 0.686

Final Price = $4.21

if f(x) = [sqrt{1-x^2}] and g(x) = [sqrt{x}] What is the domain and range for (f+g)of and go(f*g)=?
alisha [4.7K]
We are given with two equations bearing a square root sign within. In this case, the goal of f(x) is to have a value of x not greater than 1 and not less than -1. g(x) should have x only equal to  positive numbers. Hence the domain for (f+g) is equal to the positive numbers greater than or equal to 1.in 2. we multiply both functions to give sqrt of x*(1-x2). the domain should be also positive numbers greater than or equal to 1.

Joaquin fue al mercado y compro 2,2 kg de papa a S/.1,2 soles el kilo y 3,2 kg de arroz a S/.3,7 soles el kilo, si pagó con un b
nlexa [21]

Responder:

5,52

Explicación paso a paso:

Dado lo siguiente:

Precio por kilo de papa = 1.2

Kg de papa comprada = 2.2kg

Precio por kilo de arroz = 3.7 por kilo

Kg de arroz comprado = 3.2 kg

Valor del boleto emitido para el pago = 20

Precio total de la papa:

Precio * kg comprado

1.2 * 2.2 = 2.64

Precio total del arroz:

Precio * kg comprado

3.7 * 3.2 = 11.84

Cantidad total gastada = (precio total del arroz + precio total de la papa)

2.64 + 11. 84 = 14.48

Cambio pendiente = 20 - 14.48 = 5.52
