Simple...

to find the height of a triangle-->>

Formula: h_{b} =2 \frac{A}{b}  -->> Where A=Area and b=base

Now plug in what you know...

h_{b} =2 \frac{45.5}{10}

h_{b} =2(4.55)

h_{b} =9.1 cm.

Thus, your answer.

The area of a triangle is A=1/2b*h
You have the base (b) and you have the area (A)
So, if you plug in what you know, you get this:
45.5=1/2*10*h
Simplify it:
45.5=5h

Now solve for h
Divide by 5 to get h alone:
9.1=h

Your height is 9.1cm
Hope this helps :)

Enter the value for X that makes the equation 1/2 (4x-8) + 3x = 36 true
aksik [14]

Answer:

  • x = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Solve for x:</u>

  • 1/2 (4x - 8) + 3x = 36
  • 2x - 4 + 3x = 36
  • 5x - 4 = 36
  • 5x = 40
  • x = 40/5
  • x = 8

What are the answers to part A and part B?
Sophie [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a. Sum of angles in a triangle is 180°

:- w° + 67° + <Y = 180°

<Y = 180° - 67° - w°

<Y = 113° + w°

b. Sum of angles in a triangle is 180°

:- <I + <K + <Y = 180°

33° + 67° + 14d - 19° = 180°

14d = (180- 33- 67 + 19)°

14d = 99°

d = 99/14

d = 7.1°

20 points!!<br> please show me how to do this for d + 4 &lt; 7
Vilka [71]

Step-by-step explanation:

d+4

Solve for d, by subtracting 4 from both sides.

d+4-4

d

To graph the solution, draw a number line, make a hollow circle on 3 and draw an arrow pointing left towards negative numbers. The circle has to be hollow because the solution does not include 3.

To check your work, substitude d for any number less than 3. In this case, let's try with 2.

d+4

This is true. 7 is greater than 6.

Ghella [55]
Write and solve an equation of ratios:

  1 in         50 mi
--------- = ----------
     x         350 mi

Then 50x=350, and x = 7 (inches)
