Answer and Explanation :

1) Number  \frac{65}{18}

Converting improper fraction into mixed fraction,

Divide 65 by 18

65 ÷ 18 = 3 with a remainder 11.

11 ÷ 4 = 2 with a remainder of 3

So, We write down the 3 and then write down the remainder 11 above the denominator 18.

i.e. \frac{65}{18}=3\frac{11}{18}

2) Number 2\frac{5}{7}

Converting mixed into improper fraction,

Step 1 - Multiply the whole number part by the denominator

i.e. 7\times 2=14

Step 2 - Add that to the numerator

i.e.  14+5=19

Step 3 - The result is

2\frac{5}{7}=\frac{19}{7}

3) Perform the operation and write the answer in simplest form.

a) \frac{4}{7}\times\frac{3}{11}

Multiply,

\frac{4}{7}\times\frac{3}{11}=\frac{12}{77}

b) \frac{6}{10}\div\frac{12}{7}

Divide,

\frac{6}{10}\div\frac{12}{7}=\frac{6\times 7}{10\times 12}

\frac{6}{10}\div\frac{12}{7}=\frac{7}{20}

c) 5\frac{1}{7}\times3\frac{1}{9}

First convert mixed into improper,

\frac{36}{7}\times\frac{28}{9}

Multiply,

\frac{36}{7}\times\frac{28}{9}=16

d) 6\frac{3}{7}\div 1\frac{13}{14}

First convert mixed into improper,

\frac{45}{7}\times\frac{27}{14}

Divide,

\frac{45}{7}\times\frac{27}{14}=\frac{45\times 14}{7\times27}

\frac{45}{7}\times\frac{27}{14}=\frac{10}{3}

Answer:

f(-7) = -6

f(10) = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Because -7 is less than 0 you can use the top equation -7 + 1 to get 6

Because 10 is greater than 0 you can use the bottom equation 10 - 1 to get 9

Elina [12.6K]

Answer & Step-by-step explanation:

Working from the inner circle out:

Natural Numbers: <em>1,2,3,4</em>

These are the numbers you would use to count

Whole Numbers:<em> 0,1,2,3</em>

The natural numbers and zero

Integers:<em> -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3</em>

The natural numbers, their opposites, and zero

Rational Numbers: -\frac{1}{2}, 0.22222222....,1,2,\frac{2}{3}  ,\frac{5}{4} ,6.1

-are all numbers that you can write as a quotient of integers \frac{a}{b}, b\neq 0

-include terminating decimals. For example,  \frac{1}{8}=0.125

-include repeating decimals. For example, \frac{1}{3}=0.333333...

In the rectangle:

Irrational Numbers: \sqrt{2} ,\pi

-have decimal representations that neither terminate nor repeat. For example, \sqrt{2} =1.414213...

-cannot be written as quotients of integers

Check my work 3(x+1)-8=14-2(3x-4)
jeyben [28]

The value of x is 3

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Equation:</u>

3(x+1)-8=14-2(3x-4)

<u>1. Open the brackets</u>

3(x+1)-8=14-2(3x-4)

3x + 3 - 8 = 14 - 6x + 8

<u>2. Bring all x variables on the left side</u>

3x + 6x = 14 + 8 + 8 - 3

<u>3. Solve</u>

9x = 27

x = \frac{27}{9}

x = 3

Therefore, the answer of x is 3.
