The correct answer is A) onto reservations.

The other options of the question were B) into eastern cities. C) into western cities. D) onto small farms.

As settlers moved west in the 1800s, American Indians were pushed onto reservations.

It was President Andrew Jackson who signed the Indian Removal Act on May 28. 1830. This piece of legislation authorized the President of the United States to split the land west to the Mississippi River. President Jackson considered that this was a necessary movement to give white settlers more land to be a farm and make a profit. The Native American Indians were then moved to the new reservations in what was known as the Trail of Tears.

The correct answer is D. Builders were held legally accountable for their work.

This is the correct statement, as the passage clearly discusses the repercussions of builders who do not do a good job. In the passage it discusses how a building that falls due to poor construction will result in the death penalty for the individual who built the house.
