Answer:

A.to launch moon missions

Explanation:

The Apollo project's main aim was the landing of humans in the moon.

It was set in the context of the arms race and the space conquest between the USSR and the US. The Soviet Union had the lead as it was the first to launch an artificial satellite (The Sputnik) and set Yuri Gagarin as the first cosmonaut that was able to orbit in space around Earth.

The Americans to their part promoted the Apollo initiatives and initially conceived a three-man spaceship that would depart to the moon and come back safely. It saw Neil Amstrong as the first man landing on the Moon.

As this happened the US resulted victorious in establishing a flag in the moon, as a sign that they wanted to reafirm the victory in the race for the space conquest.

A secondary source would be someone writing about the Civil War after the event not having participated or witnessed anything.

It also follows up on the Gettysburg Address of November 1863 where Lincoln recast the CW as a fight to free the slaves and bring about the original concept outlined by the Founding Fathers of freedom and equality.

Describe the brown vs the board of education PLEASE I REALLY NEED THIS
VARVARA [1.3K]

Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, 347 U.S. 483 (1954), was a landmark United States Supreme Court case in which the Court declared state laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students to be unconstitutional. The decision effectively overturned the Plessy v. Ferguson decision of 1896, which allowed state-sponsored segregation, insofar as it applied to public education.
