Hey there!!

In the figure, we have two angles. And the sum of these both angles is mentioned as 134°.

Angle ABC is (4x-1)° and Angle CBD is (6x+5)°

Angle ABC + Angle CBD = 134°

... 4x - 1 + 6x + 5 = 134

... 10x + 4 = 134

... 10x = 134-4

... 10x = 130

... x = 130 ÷ 10

... x = 13

Now, we will have to find the angle ABC and the angle ABC is given as 4x-1.

Hence, angle A =

... 4(13)-1

... 52-1

... 51.

<em>Hence, the required answer is 51°.</em>

Hope my answer helps!

Volume of a Cone Formula: \displaystyle V = \frac{1}{3} \pi r^2h

  • <em>r</em> is radius
  • <em>h</em> is height

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Define</u>

Radius <em>r</em> = 12

Height <em>h</em> = 71

<u>Step 2: Find Volume</u>

  1. Substitute in variables [Volume of a Cone Formula]:                                    \displaystyle V = \frac{1}{3} \pi (12)^2(71)
  2. Evaluate exponents:                                                                                         \displaystyle V = \frac{1}{3} \pi (144)(71)
  3. Multiply:                                                                                                             \displaystyle V = \frac{1}{3} \pi (10224)

A penny is dropped from the top of a 1,000-foot building. the function gives the height of the penny t seconds after it starts f
zzz [600]
We consider an approximation of the gravity g=10.
Then the speed is given by the formula: s(t)=10t.
And the coordinate is given by the formula:x(t)=5t^2+t
(integrating the speed function).
Now set up the equation:
5t^2+t=1000
Solving the above equation for t we get:t =14 seconds.
<span>It will take 14 seconds for the penny to reach the ground.</span>
