Step-by-step explanation:

well first it would depend on what type of graph it is. If the graph is a bar graph you would have to take notes on what you want to find and the numbers you need to use. You would start by labeling what you are trying to find. You then are going to put down the numbers you need to use on the y-axis and x-axis. You will then graph/shade the data you collected

You could also use a tally chart. You would start by drawing a square/rectangle. you would write a line straight down the middle of the square/rectangle. On the left side you would put what you are trying to mark down. If it is more than one thing make more lines horizontal.You would then go to the right side of your now so called "graph". You would then put tally marks on the small squares/rectangles to represent the amount of each box.

The variance of the binomial distribution of the number of households with landline service is 2.

What is the binomial probability distribution?

It is the probability of exactly x successes on n repeated trials, with p probability of a success on each trial.

The variance of the distribution is given by:

V(X) = np(1 - p)

In this problem, the parameters are given as follows:

n = 8, p = 0.504.

Hence the variance is given by:

V(X) = 8 x 0.504 x 0.496 = 2.
