I do not know what my choices are, but my best answer otherwise staying up all night instead, or looking at your schedule for the next day and seeing if you can do it in the morning before school, during lunch, or some class that doesn't do much. and then make a mental note to do your homework fist thing when you get home instead of later at night.

Which language techniques could you use to make a blog more effective and why
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:  Picking the Perfect Topic

Explanation:

Knowing what to write about is the most difficult part about blogging. Based on your business, industry, and your overall purpose of blogging (which you should set goals for), you probably have hundreds of half-ideas on what to blog about. Before you start typing, however, come to terms with the fact that there are thousands of other blogs already out there trying to do the same thing. What sets them apart? Well, that answer is easy:

Popular, effective blogs tap into trending events, pop culture, and news. You can do this by checking out competition and staying up to date on your industry.

These blogs inform rather than promote. People have a take-away, observe a call-to-action, and potentially share/like a blog because they think others will enjoy it.

On top of being informative, successful blogs are entertaining. Forgo the tight language and traditional three sentence, grad school essay structure.

Successful blogs also have a long lifespan.

Which character from American born Chinese is an example of flat character
Phoenix [80]

<u>Answer:</u>

<em>Suzy Nakamura </em>

<em></em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

A character that is consistent in a narrative both at the beginning and at the end is referred to as a flat character. However, such figures have emotional depth in any of their appearances. Therefore Suzy is one of the flat characters in the story because of her reserved nature, and because of this, she goes through different trials while dealing with race issues. This makes her feel uncomfortable and outside. But this does not change her personality.

Type the address in the proper form.
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

<em>Upper left corner:</em>

Bill Jones

000 Elm Avenue

Hometown, IA 00000

<em>In the center:</em>

Ms. Sally R. Hansen

Manager of the credit department

Fleming's Department Store

1234 Fourth Avenue, Hometown, Iowa 54321

Explanation:

So when writing a letter there are few rules to follow. Addresses are written on the backside of an envelope. In the upper left corner, we write the sender`s address. It is written in separate lines. First line contains the name of the sender, the next line contains his address. In the next line, we write town, state and ZIP code.

The recipient`s address is written in the center of the backside. It is also written in separate lines. First line contains the name, next line contains the title (if we know the title). Next line contains a workplace. These two lines are written if we write a business letter. Next line contains the address with the town, state and ZIP code. If the address is too long, we write this in two separate lines (street, name and number in the first line and the rest in the second).

Creating fear in us, the tour guide turned out the lights in the passage.
Studentka2010 [4]

"Creating fear in us" is a gerund verbal phrase. Option A is correct.

A gerund phrase always begin with a gerund,(an ing word), and may include other modifiers and/or objects. Gerund phrases always function as nouns, so they will be subjects, subject complements, or objects in the sentence. So, to put it simply, a gerund is a noun formed with a verb ending in ing. In this particular case the gerung in the sentence is the verb "creating;"(create+ing).
