A conditional relative frequency table is generated by row from a set of data. The conditional relative frequencies of the two c

ategorical variables are then compared.
If the relative frequencies are 0.48 and 0.52, which conclusion is most likely supported by the data?

A.) There is likely an association between the categorical variables because the relative frequencies are similar in value.

B.) An association cannot be determined between the categorical variables because the relative frequencies are similar in value.

C.) An association cannot be determined between the categorical variables because the relative frequencies are not similar in value.

D.) There is likely an association between the categorical variables because the relative frequencies are both close to 0.50.

The correct answer is:

A.) There is likely an association between the categorical variables because the relative frequencies are similar in value.

Explanation:

If the relative frequencies are similar, then there is probably an association between the variables.

If the relative frequencies are not similar, then there is probably not an association between the variables.

The right answer for the question that is being asked and shown above is that: "D.) There is likely an association between the categorical variables because the relative frequencies are both close to 0.50." Given that a relative frequencies of 0.48 and 0.52, there will be an association between the categorical variables.

Jerry makes $40,000 a year working at a nearby factory. He gets two weeks paid vacation per year, plus five other paid holidays.
JulijaS [17]

Answer:

Vacation pays are not included in salaries. Therefore, Jerry's calculation is wrong.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given is :

Jerry makes $40,000 a year working at a nearby factory.

He gets two weeks paid vacation per year, plus five other paid holidays.

So total paid holidays become = 14+5=19 days

Subtracting 19 from 365 days and assuming that Jerry works for 365 days a year.

We get = 365-19=346 days

So, his per day salary will be = \frac{40000}{346}= 115.60

Vacation pays are not included in salaries. Therefore, Jerry's calculation is wrong.

Answer:

=10

=-7

=2.2

=60

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-6=14

2x=20

x=10

-5x+5= 40

-5x = 35

x= -7

10x + 2 = 24

10x = 22

x= 2.2

1/6x +1 = 11

1/6 x = 10

x = 60

is 3x+4y=12 linear or nonlinear......is y=1/2x+6 linear or nonlinear......is y=4x to the power of 2 linear or nonlinear......is
Ilya [14]

3x+4y=12 is Linear.

y-1/2x+6 is Linear.

y=4x^2 is nonlinear.

y+2=|4| is linear.

y+6=4x is linear.

In order to tell whether an equation is linear or not, you have to first see if there is any variable^2 or more than ^1. If that is the case, it isn't linear. For example the equation x^2=4 or y^5=100 isn't linear. It also isn't linear if the equation is divided by X or Y.For example the equation 1/x=1 isn't linear or 1/y^2=5 isn't linear.

A question is also linear if you can write it in the form y=mx+b , 'm' meaning the slope of the equation and 'b' meaning the y-intercept of the equation.
