Answer:

Troops and supplies would have to be divided between two distant locations.

Enemy forces held the initiative in both theaters in early 1942.

Forces would have to be maintained and supplied over a huge part of the globe.

Explanation:

The challenge that World War II had to fight on two theaters was that the War was fought on a great variety of territories and almost on the entire world. Some of the battlefields were Africa, Asia, and Europe. That was a big challenge because the people that took decisions had to decide on whether how to divide the troops and supplies according to the tactics they thought.

Also, by the time the United States entered the war, the Axis had almost the entire Continental European territory and in Asia, Japan had conquest large portions of China. They had the initiative in both theaters until the U.S. Army entered the War and change the course of the tie.

I hope this answer helps you.

vova2212 [387]

Answer:

The terms of the surrender were generous: Confederate soldiers would have to turn in their rifles, but they could return home immediately and keep their horses or mules. They were also given food as many of them were very hungry. These terms were more than Lee and the Confederate Army could ask for.

How do immigrants contribute to American economy?
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

Imigrants contribute to the US in many ways

Explanation:

Example :  They work at high rates and make up more than a third of the workforce in some industries. Their geographic mobility helps local economies respond to worker shortages, smoothing out bumps that could otherwise weaken the economy. Immigrant workers help support the aging native-born population, increasing the number of workers as compared to retirees and bolstering the Social Security and Medicare trust funds. And children born to immigrant families are upwardly mobile, promising future benefits not only to their families, but to the U.S. economy overall.

marin [14]
Romans came from the Italian pensinsula and came to Britain in the early first century. It was a gradual process and they slowly started conquering the different parts of the British isles during that time.

Vikings came from the Northern parts of Europe and they started conquering the British isles in later periods.

Both came and wanted to conquer the lands, while Romans were 'established' conquerors and started governing these areas soon by spreading their culture etc. The Vikings on the other hand had pillaing more in mind and did more of that and did not govern that much from the beginning.
