The tertiary structure of the proteins  is a three-dimensional structure. The polypeptides are arranged in a three-dimensional structure, which primarily arises because of the interaction between the side chains (R group) of the amino acids making up the protein.

The aspartic acid is a charged protein which is capable of forming the salt bridges. It can form ionic bonds with the R group of the other proteins. Hence, it can form ionic bond with the side chain of  the amino acid lysine.

Hence, the answer is aspartic acid.

The sporophyte generation is:a. diploidb. haploidc. polyploid
fomenos

Answer:

a. diploid

Explanation:

After the fertilization process between haploid egg cell and haploid sperm cell, diploid zygote is formed. Zygote has two sets of chromosomes (one from each gamete) which means it is diploid. Sporophyte stage of life cycle will develop from diploid zygote. During the life cycle of a plant (or algae) sporophyte phase alternates with a gametophyte phase which is haploid. In both, seed plants and flowering plants sporophyte phase (roots, stem, leves, cones/flowers) is more prominent than gametophyte phase (pollen, embryo sac).

Sporophyte phase produces spores via meiosis that develop into gametophte.

Marina86 [1]

The incorrect statement is: the esophagus produces digestive enzymes.

The esophagus is a fibromuscular pipe organ for the food transport from the pharynx to the stomach. The food passes through the esophagus via peristaltic contractions (rhyttmic contractions of the smooth muscles that propagate in a wave down the pipe). The esophagus is one of the first components of the digestive system and the gastrointestinal tract that is involved in the process of swallowing.
