Ezra Stiles (1727-1795)  discusses that the Resolutions of Parliament instead of intimidating only add Fuel to the Flame, invigorate & strength the Resolutions of the Americans. He perceived the Parlament as the collective wisdom of the continent. He only placed God above the Parlament as an institution.
