Basically the objective that a procedural text has is to tell you the most appropriate way to do something. It teaches you the right way to perform an actvity and describes how it can be done.

A dependent clause is group of words that also had a subject and a verb, but it is not a very complete thought . An independent clause has a complete thought and makes sense. It can stand on its own, while dependent clauses cannot not.
