Anorexia nervosa is a eating disorder in which the affected individual eat less food and exercise excessively in order to remain thin in stature. The disease affect both male and female of all ages. Aneorexia nervosa has great damaging effects on the health of the affected individual. Because of the low or total elimination of useful nutrients from meals, such people usually experience gradual slowing down of their body systems, this can eventually leads to death. This disorder have both short and long term severe effects.
The binge purge symptoms of anorexia is said to occur when an affected individual starve himself of food and in addition to that also take other actions that will further reduce his weight. Such actions include: abusing laxatives, abusing diuretics or exercising in an obsessive manner.<span />
