I listen to metal music, which is considered satanic and very violent, but it really does the opposite. it helps me be calm (don't ask why. I don't even know)
The reason I didn't pick 5 (totally agree) is because I don't want to generalize and say that <em>everyone </em>who plays violent games or watches violent movies will be violent.
Here are my reasons why I somewhat agree:
People who play violent games or watch violent movies may want to imitate what they see in the games/movies.
They become desensitized to the violence and don't think that the violence is "that bad"
Since video games/movies are associated with entertainment, people may then associate there contents (violence) with entertainment as well and start seeking it.
They tend to arrouse violent emotions, so people who are generally already rather violent people may have their emotions intensified greatly
