4 (Somewhat agree)

The reason I didn't pick 5 (totally agree) is because I don't want to generalize and say that everyone who plays violent games or watches violent movies will be violent.

Here are my reasons why I somewhat agree:

 • People who play violent games or watch violent movies may want to imitate what they see in the games/movies.
 • They become desensitized to the violence and don't think that the violence is "that bad"
 • Since video games/movies are associated with entertainment, people may then associate there contents (violence) with entertainment as well and start seeking it.
 • They tend to arrouse violent emotions, so people who are generally already rather violent people may have their emotions intensified greatly

Hope this helped!

Why is the National benchmark important in the university application process ..two reasons
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

The National Benchmark Tests (NBTs) are assessments for first-year applicants into higher education institutions. The NBTs were designed to measure a writer's ability to transfer understanding of Academic Literacy, Quantitative Literacy and Mathematics to the demands of tertiary coursework.

The NBTs also help to interpret your NSC results and can be used by universities in different ways. Some use them to help make decisions about your access/application to university. This means that your NBT results, in combination with your matric results, are used to determine whether you are ready for academic study.

Fittoniya [83]

Answer:We can think that the author used the dialogue instead of description to show who the characters are. Using the dialogue will allow the characters to have like their own space in the plot and in this way, they have prominence as well. Making them talk shows distinctive characteristics of them and make it easier to identify them.
