The Tampa Bay Times made an article about this. They wrote that spokeswoman Taryn Fenske said (via email) people who have not passed the algebra 1 eoc will graduate with a diploma because all chances of taking the test are now gone.

T_n = a_1 + d(n - 1)

T_n = 52 + 12(n - 1)

T_n = 52 + 12n - 12

T_n = 40 + 12n

When n = 102,
T_{102} = 40 + 12(102) = 1264

Answer: 1264

Im confused can someone please explain how to do this
ozzi

First rewrite the mixed number as an improper fraction:

-1 1/14 = -15/14

Now you have :

-3/7 / -15/14

When dividing by a fraction, flip the second fraction over and change divide to multiply:

-3/7 x -14/15

Now multiply top by top and bottom by bottom:

(-3 x -14) / ( 7 x 15) = 42/105

Simplify by diving each number by 21 to get the final answer :

2/5
