Civic duties are the responsibilities of the citizens towards their government whereas a democratic government system refers to a system brought by the citizens of that country.
The responsibilities of the citizens to the democratic system would be to vote during the elections, voice a change they want in the country, take part and formulate public organizations and volunteer to help the democratic government for the betterment of the society.
