How were Hitler's Storm-troopers and Mussolini's Black Shirts the same?
bekas [8.4K]

Answer: They were both used to suppress other parties.

Explanation:

Hitler's storm troopers were called the SA for short. They were the Nazis' paramilitary wing and were tasked with doing the dirty work to aid in and maintain the Nazis' grip on power. They would intimidate opponents and attack other parties such as the Communists to ensure that these parties never gained a foothold in Germany.

This was much like what Benito Mussolini's Black shirts did. They attacked and disrupted the meetings of other parties such as the Communists and suppressed these parties such that when they marched on Rome, the government had no choice but to accede to the demands of Mussolini.

The 1828 tariff created a further problem for the South, as it reduced business with England. And that, in turn, made it more difficult for the English to afford cotton grown in the American South.
