In my opinion it would be B. I choose this answer since it sounds more appropriate in this sentence and it makes more sense. From using the word "well" it makes it slide off your tongue better while saying the sentence. Its hard to explain it more but i hope this helped! :D

5 cubed, as in 5 to the power of 3?

Indices indicate how many times a number is multiplied by itself.

For example, 5 to the power of 2, a.k.a. 5 squared, would be 5 by 5, hence 25.

5 cubed would therefore be 5 by 5 by 5. We already know 5 by 5 (25), and now you multiply that answer by 5 again.

Your answer is 125.

What is ironic about the “Titanic” story in terms of the Greek myth that is named after?
den301095 [7]
What I got was : basically, 'titan' in the word titanic means gigantic. huge. titans in Greek mythology were strong, powerful, immortal, and god-like deities, and they were brought down by the Gods. That is the greek mythology that the word  'Titanic' is derived from.

What I would consider ironic and quite frankly, interesting, is the fact that the Titanic (ship) was large and strong—and it sunk, never to be seen ever again, it's glory reduced to nothingness. And the same goes for the titans : they were glorious, arrogant, and huge, and even then they were sunk, or rather, lowered by the Gods of Greek Mythology.

Answer:

The flood plains make agriculture possible because it provides fresh water and it is the most fertile land.

Explanation:

floodplains are usually very fertile agricultural areas. Floods carry nutrient-rich silt and sediment, and distribute it across a wide area. floodplains are flat and often have relatively few boulders or other large obstacles that may prevent farming.
