Answer:

The number of hours she walked dogs for =  4 hours

The number of hours she worked as a life guard  =  9 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the earning per hour as lifeguard = $ 10

The earning per hour for walking dogs = $ 6

Let us assume the number of hours she worked for walking dog = m hours

So, The hours she worked as life guard =  (m + 5) hours

Also, earning of Camilla for walking dog for m hours  = m x ( 1 hour income)

= m x ($6)  = 6 m

Earning of Camilla for working as a  guard for (m +5) hours

 = (m  +5 )x ( 1 hour income)  = (m +5) x ($ 10)

= 10  m +  50

Now, her TOTAL EARNING  = $114

⇒ Earning from walking dogs  + Life guard = $114

⇒ 6 m + 10 m  +  50 = 114

or, 1 6 m = 64

or, m = 64/16 =  4

or, m = 4 hours

Hence, the number of hours she walked dogs for =  4 hours

The number of hours she worked as a life guard  =  5 +4  = 9 hours

Let v1,....., vk be vectors, and suppose that a point mass of m1,....., mk is located at the tip of each vector. The center of m
a_sh-v [17]

Answer: m1 = 4

m2 = 5

m3 = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

given (21/11, 6/11) = m1 (-1/3) + m2 (3, -2) + m3 (5, 2)

= (-m1 + 3m2 + 5m3) / 11 = 21/11

= (3m1 + (-2)m2 + 2m3) / 11 = 6/11

so that m1 + m2 +m3 = 11

-m1 + 3m2 + 5m3 = 21

3m1 - 2m2 + 2m3 = 6

from this, we get the augmented matrix as

\left[\begin{array}{cccc}-1&1&1&11\\-1&3&5&21\\3&-2&2&6\end{array}\right]

= \left[\begin{array{cccc}-1&1&1&11\\0&4&6&32\\0&-5&-1&-27\end{array}\right]  \left \{ {{R2=R2 + R1} \atop {R3=R3 -3R1 }]} \right.

= \left[\begin{array}{cccc}-1&1&1&11\\0&1&3/2&8\\0&-5&-1&-27\end{array}\right]

= \left[\begin{array}{cccc}-1&1&1&11\\0&1&3/2&8\\0&0&13/2&13\end{array}\right]

(R3 = R3 + 5R2)

this gives m1 + m2 + m3 = 11

m2 + 3/2 m3 = 8

13/2 m3 = 8

13/2 m3 = 13

m3 = 2

m2 = 8 -3/2 (2) = 5

= m1 = 11- 5 - 2 = 4

this gives

m1 = 4

m2 = 5

m3 = 2

What is the scale for 3 cm on the map correspond to 120 km in the actual distance?
nikdorinn [45]

Actual Distance =120 Km

We have to map 120 Km in the scale of  3 Cm.

i.e, 3 Cm = 120 Km

→  1 cm = (120÷3) Km

→ 1 cm = 40 Km

So, if you scale 3 cm on the map correspond to 120 km,then

you have to scale , 1 Cm= 40 Km

Drawn the graph for you below.
