However, the high point of the suspense is portrayed at the end of the poem, when Ovid causes Pyramus to find his beloved's bloody vein and is extremely sad, making the reader unable to know what he will actually do, until he decides he needs to die. Furthermore, the suspense gets even greater when Thisbe finds her beloved dead and decides to have the same end.
