Answer:

Communism wasn't contained inside the Soviet Union. It had to be spread worldwide to achieve utopia. Some countries had adopted communism to help realize that goal, including: Warsaw Pact Nations: Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Poland and Hungary (communist from about 1945 to 1991). The Warsaw Pact was a military treaty signed by these countries and Russia. In short, it guaranteed that they would come to each other's aid if targeted by another country.

Do you think Underground Railroad is an appropriate name for the network to aid fugitive slaves? Why or why not? What might suck
Blababa [14]

Answer:

Yes, I believe that the Underground Railroad is an appropriate name for the network to aid slaves. The Underground Railroad, like a real railroad, had defined routes and stops along the way. The word “underground” can take the literal meaning of being underground, but it can also take the meaning of being hidden or secret. Therefore, I believe that the Underground Railroad is a fitting name.
