The efforts of the reform were directed against the sinful philosophy taken by the Catholic Church. One of those sinful philosophies was the give away of indulgences. An indulgence was a way to reduce the amount of punishment one has to undergo for sins in exchange for an amount of money. From all the aforementioned the start of selling indulgences was not an effect of Reformation.

Was appeasement an effective strategy against hitler's military aggression? provide evidence to justify your explanation
Roman55 [17]
I think appeasement is not a good strategy with Hitler. He was too obsessed with a power which made Chamberlain's appeasement not a solution to stop his military aggression. If Chamberlain did not enter this diplomatic relation he could have defeated Hitler earlier.

The Magna Carta was a document signed in 1215 at Runnymede by King John of England in which he agreed that everybody was subject to law, be they a commoner or king - nobody was above the law. He was made to sign this document by the nobles, because they disagreed with many of his decisions and wanted to have more power in the king's decision making.
