I think appeasement is not a good strategy with Hitler. He was too obsessed with a power which made Chamberlain's appeasement not a solution to stop his military aggression. If Chamberlain did not enter this diplomatic relation he could have defeated Hitler earlier.

Answer:

No it was not

Explanation:

Appeasement is when a country tries to avoid conflict/fighting by making an agreement with an aggressive nation. In the Munich Agreement, this policy was used. This gave Hitler some land in Czechslovakia. Ultimately, Britain and the US thought giving Hitler this land would stop him from invading any other part of Europe.

However, this only fueled Hitler's desire for more land. Hitler would continually invade more countries as he knew that Great Britain and the US were trying to avoid another world war at all costs. This is why appeasement as not effective.
