The correct option is D.
Most nouns are turned into plural forms by adding letter 's' to the nouns. Other nouns required adding 'es' or changing the 'y' to 'i; and then adding 'es', but these are small in number compare to those that require adding letter s. Examples of nouns that required addition of letter s in order to form the plural form are: boy, girl, pencil, pen, school, parent, etc.

How can you explain why there are so many hours of darkness on December 21? How can you explain why there are so many hours of d
Mekhanik [1.2K]
December 21st was the Winter Solstice in the northern hemisphere. That's the day when Earth's north pole was pointed completely away from the Sun. If you lived north of the Arctic Circle, like Santa Claus, you would have experienced 24 hours of darkness. It was the day the Sun never set.
The reason we have solstices, and seasons, is because Earth is tilted on its axis about 23.5 degrees. This causes each hemisphere to receive different amounts of sunlight throughout the year. After June 21, the sun's direct rays will again begin to shift southward from the Tropic of Cancer toward Earth's equator.

Answer:

The never tired smiling One That the human people Call the Sun.

Explanation:

Because a Metaphor is giving a non-living thing characteristics of a living thing. So the sun doesn't really smile, they're just giving it a realistic characteristic.
