The first positive impact of Islam in the world can be seen in the encouragement of Muslims to the pursuit of knowledge, as prophet Mohammed said, the best form of worship is the pursuit of knowledge. Islam is the only religion that has raised the prestige of women from one of the poorly humiliated creature, to that of a respectful being possessing equal rights to man. Under the wrong ideological concept of child marriage by the non-Muslims, the Muslims have been criticized by the western media but in fact there is no concept of child marriage in Islam and such incidents are purely restricted to few old customed tribes. <span>slam abolished the barriers which had isolated these countries from each other, so that the whole area now had one religious tradition and one literary and scientific language. The regulators in colonial South Carolina were a group formed in order to
docker41 [41]

Answer:

C. Stop roving bands of outlaws from terrorising the backcountry

Explanation:

The Regulators formed in 1764 and their main purpose was to have a better government and reduce the taxes that were put on them. At first the Regulators started off as just protesting, but over time it turned into a whole militia and became quite violent. The wealthy men in North Carolina despised the Regulators and saw them as an overall threat to their business and/or wealth, so they called in the actual colonial militia to kill them.

Elina [12.6K]

Answer:

B, to escape religious persecution in their native countries

Explanation:

During the 1600s, many people in Europe were being unfairly persecuted due to religion, so to gain religious freedom, they immigrated to America. This is why religious freedom is one of the first things guaranteed in the United States Bill of Rights.
