The first positive impact of Islam in the world can be seen in the encouragement of Muslims to the pursuit of knowledge, as prophet Mohammed said, the best form of worship is the pursuit of knowledge. Islam is the only religion that has raised the prestige of women from one of the poorly humiliated creature, to that of a respectful being possessing equal rights to man. Under the wrong ideological concept of child marriage by the non-Muslims, the Muslims have been criticized by the western media but in fact there is no concept of child marriage in Islam and such incidents are purely restricted to few old customed tribes. slam abolished the barriers which had isolated these countries from each other, so that the whole area now had one religious tradition and one literary and scientific language. Scientists and men of letters were free to travel, and crossed vast distances to meet other scholars.

How did Portugal gain an advantage in trading in comparison to other European nations?
mixer [17]

Answer:

The biggest changes were in rigging. At first they concentrated on lateen sails, then added a mix of square sails and lateen for deeper penetration into the South Atlantic, with further changes for the much longer route round the Cape. Knowledge of these techniques was protected by forbidding sales of ships to other countries. A third commercial advantage was Portugal's ability to absorb “new Christians” — Jewish merchants and scholars had played a significant role during Muslim rule.

what is the significance of Reverend Dimmesdale saying compactor come my little Pearl in chapter 23 of The Scarlet Letter
Novay_Z [31]

Reverend Dimmesdale saying "Come, my little Pearl" is significant because it is his public confession that Pearl is his daughter.

After he finishes his sermon, Reverend Dimmesdale shows people that he is not 'the holiest man in New England' as everyone thinks by revealing that Pearl, Hester's daughter, is his illegitimate child. When he tells his secret, Hester and Pearl stand by his side and both of them are witness of the A that he has carved into his skin, which symbolizes that the Reverend is a sinner. After he confesses his sin and asks for forgiveness, Reverend Dimmesdale dies on the scaffold.
