\pi = 3.14

Formula:

\textrm {Circumference of the Circle} = 2\pi r

Substituting the values

23.55= 2\times 3.14\times r

23.55=7.28r

\therefore r= \frac{23.55}{7.28}

\therefore r= 3.23489

Now diameter is twice the radius

diameter = 2r

\therefore diameter = 2 \times 3.23489

Diameter = 7.5 inches
