Yogurt. Most yogurts are fortified with vitamin D, and depending on the brand, you could get 30 percent of your daily calcium intake from yogurt.

Milk. An eight-ounce glass of fat-free milk will provide you with 30 percent of your daily dose of calcium.

Salmon and Tuna. Just three ounces of salmon contains more than your full daily dose of vitamin D. Tuna is another great source of vitamin D, although it doesn’t contain quite as much as salmon (just about 39 percent of your daily dose).

Spinach.Just one cup of cooked spinach contains 25 percent of the daily recommended dose of calcium. It also contains plenty of fiber, iron and vitamin A. If you just can’t stomach spinach, make a fruit smoothie and add handful of fresh spinach.

Fortified foods. Store-bought foods like orange juice and some cereals are fortified with vitamins and minerals like vitamin D and calcium. Just check the labels to be sure what you’re buying will actually be beneficial to building strong bones.

Eggs. A breakfast without eggs really isn’t breakfast at all. And although you can cut calories by eating the whites only, the yolk is the source of everything that’s good for you in eggs, including calcium and protein.

Your body needs two key nutrients: calcium and vitamin D. Calcium is the mineral that strengthens bones and teeth, and vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium while improving bone growth. So stuff like yogurt, milk, salmon, tuna, and spinach.

Which statement provides an example of epigenetics A. Genetic mutations arising every other generation B. Selective breeding of
irina [24]

Answer: d. mothering style affecting the developing brain

Explanation:

Epigenetics is the study of features or "phenotypes" which do not involve changes in the DNA sequence. Epigenetics is about how genes are expressed and used instead of the DNA sequence of the genes themselves.

The behaviour of a person's genes depends not only on the DNA sequence of the genes, but also on so-called epigenetic factors. Effects on genes from the external environment can affect disease, and some of these effects can be inherited in humans.

So, Mothering style which affects the brain development is an exampe of epigenetics which do not show any genetic feature.

Hence, the correct option is d.

PLEASE HELP! In this simulation, the masses of the planets were all the same. Do you think if the masses of the planets were dif
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer:

It would certainly make a difference.

Explanation:

The mass of a planet determines how thick the planets atmosphere would be, if it can even sustain an atmosphere. If all the masses are the same, all of the large planets would not be able to sustain life, while all of the smaller, denser planets still have a chance.

The mass of a planet also affects it’s gravitational pull. If all of the planets had the same mass, they would all have the same gravitational pull, meaning that they would all attract the same amount of asteroids, meteors, and other spacial objects.

Overall, the simulation would certainly be different, for many, many reasons. The above are only two, and if you would like more, just add a comment and I can give you more.

The mass of vascularized connective tissue that temporarily forms during wound healing is called the granulation tissue.

Granulation tissue refers to the reddish connective tissue that forms around the surface of the wound during wound healing. It is associated with the formation of the new blood vessels renedering it a red color and delivers the nutrients to the tissue. It is primarily composed of a tissue matrix consisting of different types of cells which are associated with various functions like the formation of the matrix, protect against infection and the formation of the blood vessels which is called the vascularization. Fibroblasts are present in the extracellular matrix of the granulation tissue.
