Answer:

According to the psychoanalytic perspective (Sigmund Freud), the superego develops as a result of incorporating within the personality the standards and values of parents, community, and significant others?

Explanation:

According to the psychoanalytic perspective of Sigmund Freud, there are three components of personality :

1) Id

2) Ego

3) Superego

Superego is the last component of personality to develop. It is the aspect of personality that holds all of our internalized moral standards and ideals that we acquire both from parents and society (our sense of right and wrong). It basically provides guidelines for making judgements. It begins to emerge at age around 5.

Hence, According to the psychoanalytic perspective (Sigmund Freud), the superego develops as a result of incorporating within the personality the standards and values of parents, community, and significant others.

Answer: SUPER EGO

Explanation: According to the psychoanalytic theory of Sigmund Freud, the personality is made up of three(3) components which are ID,EGO and SUPER EGO.

The ID is the original source of one's personality from which other two personalities develop. ID is unlearned and comes up as unconscious behavior and characters.

The EGO develops as the child gets in contact with reality, the EGO controls the ID and helps it to function well.

The SUPER EGO is the the moral aspect of an individual,It reminds one of all the moral teachings, ethics, cultures and values from one's Family, Church, School,Mosque,Elders and wherever moral teachings are being taught.

SUPER EGO controls one's general behavior and brings up all that one has ever obtained from learning from parents, teachers and peer groups.

The SUPER EGO is the do's and dont's or the rights and wrongs.

It can be referred to the conscience that has the ability to condemn or praise someone. It controls the ID and EGO and makes one to act in line with societal accepted behaviours.
