The first statement is false, the second statement is true :)

They are both false because for statement one, she (Cassidy) cant sell ANY number over 12, she has to sell any number above 24. This is easy because all you must do is 12 * 3.

For statement 2, it is the same thing. As i said before she must sell any number above 24, to get her 75$ total. Therefore both statements are false.<span />

What does X equal to ?
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

x= 15

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use cross products to solve this problem

7     2x+5

-- = --------

3       x

7x = 3(2x+5)

Distribute

7x = 6x +15

Subtract 6x from each side

7x-6x = 6x-6x+15

x = 15

What is the value of 1 over 2 x+3.4y when x=3 and y = 4?
gavmur [86]

Answer:

The value of the given expression is 27.1

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given an expression of two variable x and y.

We need to find the value of expression at x = 3 and y = 4

So first put x = 3 and y = 4 into expression and simplify

1/2 x 3 (3) + 3.4 x 4

➡️ 1/2 x 27 + 13.6

➡️ 27/2 + 13.6

➡️ 13.5 + 13.6

Now, add both of the numbers together. ( as an addition problem)

Therefore, when you ad the 2 together, you get the total of 27.1
