Answer:

try to get rid of one of the variables by multiplying both equations by a numbers to make the variables equal. For example if you want to get rid of the x variable and in the equation it says 3x and 2x, you would multiply the entire equation by 2 and 3 to make them both 6x and because you have to increase the entire equation by the same number to make it equal. Then you would subtract them. This would elimnate a variable. solve the remaining equation. Then continue solving the equation from there by plugging in the variable that you just got. Xelga [282]

The correct answer is:

h(t) = –16t² + 50t + 3

Explanation:

The general form of an equation such as this is h(t) = at² + v₀t + h₀, where a is the constant due to gravity, v₀ is the initial velocity and h₀ is the initial height.

We are given that the constant due to gravity is -16.

The initial velocity is 50, and the initial height is 3; this gives us the equation

h(t) = -16t² + 50t + 3

I don't know how to do the problem 6^4 x 10^2 over 6^2 x 2^4.
Do you think you could help?
marshall27 [118]
The answer to your question is: Yes, I think I could help".
Thank you for the points.

================================

(6^4 x 10^2) / (6^2 x 2^4)

Divide the numerator and denominator by 6^2 ,

(6^2 x 10^2) / (2^4)

6^2 = 36
10^2 = 100
2^4 = 16

Plug these equivalents into the fraction:

(36 x 100) / 16 = 3600 / 16 = 225 .

What is the midpoint of the line segment with endpoints (1,-6) and (-3,4)?
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

(-1,-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the x coordinate of the midpoint, add the x coordinates of the endpoint and divide by 2

(1+-3)/2 = -2/2 = -1

To find the y coordinate of the midpoint, add the y coordinates of the endpoint and divide by 2

(-6+4)/2 = -2/2 = -1

(-1,-1)
