Answer:

try to get rid of one of the variables by multiplying both equations by a numbers to make the variables equal. For example if you want to get rid of the x variable and in the equation it says 3x and 2x, you would multiply the entire equation by 2 and 3 to make them both 6x and because you have to increase the entire equation by the same number to make it equal. Then you would subtract them. This would elimnate a variable. solve the remaining equation. Then continue solving the equation from there by plugging in the variable that you just got. Point Q is the center of dilation. Line segment L M is dilated to created line segment L prime M prime. The length of L Q is 4 a
koban [17]

Answer:

The length of segment QM' = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Q is the center of dilation

Pre-image (original image) = segment LM

New image = segment L'M'

The length of LQ = 4

The length of QM = 3

The length of LL' = 4

The original image was dilated with scale factor = 2

QM' = ?

To determine segment QM', first we would draw the diagram obtained from the given information.

Find attached the diagram

When a figure is dilated, we would have similar shape in thus cars similar triangles.

Segment L'M' = scale factor × length of LM

Let LM = x

L'M' = 2x

Using similar triangles theorem, ratio of their corresponding sides are equal.

QM/LM = QM'/L'M'

3/x = QM'/2x

6x = QM' × x

Q'M' = 6

The length of segment QM' = 6

Please help me in this question.Tell me if it is good. And if it is not good then do it for me please.
Orlov [11]

Answer:

Y = 170, Z = 64.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since y is the external angle to x, which you got right, it is in fact, 180-10, = 170 degrees. And since z is the external to our unknown angle, that means it is equal to the sum of the other two angles in the triangle. That means z is 54 + 10, which is 64.

Rita can make 8 cakes for a bakery each day. So far, she has orders for more than 32 cakes. Right now, Rita needs more than four
Andru [333]

Answer:

x > 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Calling x the number of days Rita needs to bake the total amount of cakes, then inequality is x*8 > 32. Because she has orders for more than 32 cakes and can make 8 cakes per day. Dividing by 8 every side of the inequality gives: x > 4. Graph of the solution is attached (notice that 4 is not included).
