Answer:

Bullying is insidious because of the slow and detrimental effect it has upon mental health. In many stories, bullying can lead to horrible outcomes. In a famous story, this happened to a Canadian high-schooler named Amanda Todd. She had video-chatted with a man who convinced her to show him intimate parts of her body (her chest). He screenshotted the screen, and sent a photo of this all around her high school. After that, she was bullied relentlessly. This led to her eventually killing herself due to all the anxiety, shame, and depression it caused her.

Select the correct answer.
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

A. the time, place, and conditions in which a story occurs

Explanation:

The purpose of setting in literature is to act as an exposition.

When we read a scary story, and the character starts to describe the circumstances of his physical surroundings, he is describing his setting.

Example: It was midnight when I pulled into the driveway of my house. The lamposts along my street blinked eerily as I made my way to the front door. Something didn't feel right.

Choice B describes mood.

Choice C describes plot.

Choice D describes characterization.

It is easiest to order your ideas when you have A. written a clear and specific thesis statement. B. developed an outline of you
ser-zykov [4K]

A. written a clear and specific thesis statement.

A thesis statement should include the topic of your essay as well as a preview of the major supporting ideas. The supporting ideas are the topics of each of your body paragraphs. You would write a draft of your thesis statement at the beginning of your outline, so it would be easier to complete an outline of your ideas. A clear thesis statement about cell phones in school might be: Cell phones should be allowed in the classroom because they can be a useful tool for education, a necessary way of contacting someone in an emergency, and an importance practice in ignoring distractions. This statement gives the author's position on the topic of cell phones in school and then lists the supporting reasons in the order they should appear in the body paragraphs.
