Though the exact details of his life and expeditions are the subject of debate, John Cabot (or Giovanni Caboto, as he was known in Italian) may have developed the idea of sailing westward to reach the riches of Asia while working for a Venetian merchant. By the late 1490s, he was living in England, and gained a commission from King Henry VII to make an expedition across the northern Atlantic. He sailed from Bristol in May 1497 and made landfall in late June. The exact site of Cabot’s landing has not been definitively established; it may have been located in Newfoundland, Cape Breton Island or southern Labrador. After returning to England to report his success, Cabot departed on a second expedition in mid-1498, but is thought to have perished in a shipwreck en route.

The economy of a country has been growing at an annual rate of 8%. Determine the causes and effects of economic growth in this c
alex41 [277]

The economic growth rates gives information on how fast the economy is growing, and is calculated by comparing the economic output (measured as the Gross Domestic Product or GDP) of two subsequent periods.

The two main determinants of GDP/economic growth are:

 • Productivity increases caused by more efficient use of inputs (labor, capital) and implementation of innovation.
 • Accumulation of physical capital

Effects of economic growth

 • Larger amount of goods and services are available in the country and ready for consumption
 • High employments levels, as workers are necessary to manufacture that large quantity of goods and services. As GDP has grown, so have done employment figures.
 • More employment brings boosts on aggregate demand and generate further growth as business will keep on trying to serve the whole demand.
 • As demand grows it is quite likely that prices do so too, therefore economic growth would increase the inflation rate (not necessarily a problem if such growth is not too large and remains stable).
 • Productivity increases and implementation of innovations make national firms more efficient and competitive in the international markets.

How did antisemitism permeate German society legally and socially?
Mariulka [41]

Answer: Antisemitism became the national doctrine of Germany.

Explanation:

Antisemitism is widespread propaganda among the German people. During his imprisonment, Hitler wrote a book called Mein Kampf (My Struggle), which became the core ideology of the strongest German uncle, the National Socialist struggle. This book is full of hate and racial discrimination. Hitler needed a "scapegoat" to defeat Germany in World War I and blamed the Jews as the culprit for all of Germany's problems. Through robust and unprecedented propaganda, he sought to and succeeded in convincing German society, which began to turn to this ideology of hatred and destruction massively.

In what ways did the hebrews monotheistic religion differ from the people around them
seropon [69]

It is an interesting question but it is necessary to contextualize it.

First of all, hebrew is any member of ancient northern semitic people that were ancestors of the Jews, this definition is according Britannica Book.

But if I Have to mention the Bible the Hebrews was the Town of God defined in the Antique Testament and they had roles and commandments from God to follow. They had a sacerdote or lead who always talked with God and after communicated the messages for the People. One different from the people around them was that they can not eat murder animals and don't get idols of wood or someone else.

Now if we does check the new testament, the hebrews just believed in the Law of Moses and it was very different of pharisees, sadducees and son of them didn't believe in Jesus Christ.

Nowadays these different of doctrine about God are alive and they have produced serious conflict between nations and people.
