 2y=x-1...(2)
substitution  2y in (1) :
7x-(x-1) = 1
7x-x+1 = 1 
7x = 0
x=0
in (2) :   2y = 0-1
2y = -1        y=  -1/2
the system have one solution :  (0 ;-1/2)
