sue was mixing the dry ingredients in a bowl for a cake.the original recipe called for 4 pounds of flour and 2 pounds of sugar .

she needs to cut the recipe in half .how many pounds of dry ingredients does she need?

Well since half of 4 is two it would be 2 pounds of flour and since half of 2 is 1 you would have 1 pound of sugar all together you would have 3 pounds of dry ingredients
